TURKEY AND WAFFLES

I learned this reciepe from my cousin Elizabeth

4 C turkey oir chicken
1 C sliced mushrooms
1C LEFTOVER vegetables of your choice
2TBLS butter
2 tbls flour
2 cups whole milk
melt butter in 12" skillet brown mushrooms, after they are browned add flour stir til fllour is completely cooked, slowly add the milk, stir till thickened, then add the remaining ingreadents adsimmer 10 mins until hot. Serve over hot waffles either you own or toaster kind icon_lol


Left overs, leftovers, leftovers

It's the day after Thanksgiving and we skk hsve tons of leftovers so I will be posting several of my favorite recepies for them. Starting with.............................
TURKEY COTTAGE PIE
This can use several of your leftovers
4 C. diced turkey
4c leftover vegetables or canned or frozen veggies of your choice
2 cups leftover gravy or canned

2-3 cups leftover mashed potatos
1c greated cheddar or other favorite cheese
1 egg
chopped parsley to garnish

cranberry orange relish

Just in time for Thanksgiving MY Cranberry orange relish
1lb bag fresh cranberrys
1 juice orange
1c sugar
pinch salt

zest the orange into 3 qt sauce pan add the juice of the orange add all other ingreadents. Bring to a boil, cook until the cranberries split open, simmer about 10 mins. Remove from heat, let cool to room temp the refrigate.

1/8C WATER
BEAT EGG WITH WATER. PLACE ONIONS IN A ZIP-LOCK BAG. CRUSH RHEM FINELY WITH A ROLLING PIN. DIP CHICKEN IN EGG WASH THEN. BAKE AT 375 FOR 45 MINUETS UNTIL GOLDEN BROWN COAT WITH ONIONS


VERY, VERY, EASY BANNA NUT BREAD

This is a wonderful way to use up those banannas that are so ripe they seem spoiled. All those bruised spots are really very sweet

3 VERY ripe bananns
3cups bisquick
3tpls soft butter
2 ex l eggs
2tsp cinnimon
1tsp vinalla

in a lare mixing bowl mash your banannas with a fork until you have a paste
Beat in the eggs, then add all the rest of the ingreadents, Beat with a hand mixer. fill 2 bread pans. top with strussel bake at 375 for 45 min

EASY MELTING CHEESE ITALIAN STUFFD PEPPERS

3PEPPERS, YOU CHOICE OF COLOR, HALFED,DECORED AND BLANCHED.
1 MY MEATLOAF MIXED RAW
1 QT YOUR FAVORITE SPEGITTY SAUCE
6 SCLICESYOU FAVORITE EASY MELTING CHEESE

devide raw meat loaf miz into 6 parts and stuffed into blanched pepper halfs. Pour 1/2 spagitti sauce. Bake at 350 for 1 hour. after a hour top each with your choice of cheese aqnd sauce return to oven for 10 mins done! icon_razz

homemade ravoli

Homemade ravoli can be quick and easy. Here goes.
HOMEMADE RAVOLI
1 pkg wanton wappers, usually found in produce section
1/4 cup rocatta chese
1 egg beaten with 1 tbl water
1 your favorite meatball mix
1 qt your favorite spagitti saucemix meat mixture in 1 tbl olive oil. Drain and let cool. Mix in cheese, season with1 tsb basil if you wish take wanton wrapper ,place 1 scant tsb meat mixture in center. brush the sides of another wanton with egg wash.PLACE ON TOP OF

Chicken and noodles

2lbs chicken thighs
3 small or 1 large can chicken broth
2 medium coursly chopped
8 oz sliced baby bella mushroos
1 box frozen baby green peas with onions
1 lb wide egg noodles
2tbls vegetable oillighlty

Lightly salt thighs and brown very vell in a 8 qt stock pot. Add the chopped onions and the .. mushrooms ans saute til lightly brown.cook until you can remove skin ann bone. Add 2 more cups of water bring to boil add noodles. Cook til noodles are tender...serve


Crispy Chichen Fingers

2lbs chicken tenders
2 eggs
1/4 c water
2 c PANCO bread crumbs the seasoned kind. You must ude panco bread crumbs to get that real crispiness
1 can pam vegetable spray

beat eggs with watter. Dip teders frst then in panco, press dow hard with the palms of your hands to coat well
pre heat oven to 375 spray rack well with pam. place tenders on tray spray each tender well bake29 min til top is browned turn spray again,cook another 15 mins


Rasberry frosting

This recepe was my grams invention. Made with wild berries we picked on our hill



1 cup fresh raspberries
1 cup sugar
2 egg whites
pinch salt
1/2 tsp vanilla

using a good strong mixer beat until it fors stiff peaks. Use as a cake frosting or spoon into pudding dish and top with whipped cream for a dessart on it's own


chicken and dumplings

1 stewing chicken or 6 chicken thighs
1/4 cup olive oil
1tsp salt and pepper
2 carrots peeled and sliced
2 celery stalks sliced
1 large red onion quartered
1 larg can chicken stock
1can refrigater bisquits each cut in quarters.

In large stockpot brow salted chicken with vegetables. When all are browned add stock and simmer for 2 hours
after 2 hours drop quartered bisquits, cover and simmer another 20 minuets


Dad M's ckicken Italino

1 frying chisken quartered
2 tbles extra vergin olive oil
3 whole cloves garlic
1 tsp sea salt
1 each, red, green,and yellow sweet peppers quartered
1 red onion quartered
1 lb portabello mushrooms quartered
1 small young zuccini cut in 1" slices

Brow all of the above in the olive oil. Place all in baking pan, cover tightly with foil
Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour
The smell of this is WONDERFUL. Make sure you serve with lots of ITALIAN bread to soop up the juices.

BEEF WITH MUSHROOMS AND WINE

BEEF WITH MUSHROOMS

2 ls tenderlon tips
1 lb sliced baby bellla mushrooms
1 small yellow onion
1 tsp each salt and pepper
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1/2 bottle burgendy wine
1/2 package noodles cooked
1/4 c olive oil
season meat with salt and peppers

deeply brown onion, mushrooms,ands tenderlone cube. Pour in wine stir to get up the brown bits in the pan
addd mushroom soup , stir well. Serve over cooked noodles


MADRAS CURRY

1medium red onion chopped
1-2 tbls madras cury powder
1 small can diced tomato do not drain
1ts eg
p salt and pepper
1 cup each vegetables and your choice protien, meat,fish,shell fish,boiled eggs

saute onion with curry powder for a few mins. Add the rest of the thingd in order, let simmer on very low heat for 15 min. Serve with jasmine rice and Nan bread
